About Kay

Kay is an experienced Councillor who has represented the local area for the last eight years. She is now Deputy Leader of the Council. She has also served previously as a County Councillor, Parish Councillor and as a school Governor.

Kay lives in Chedgrave and is married to Michael. She is the mother of three children. Originally from a farming background, Kay has also been a senior executive for a marine sciences company. She currently runs her own legal consultancy and helps to manage her husband’s company. Kay is a champion of improving recycling rates and recognises the importance of keeping our streets clean and preserving our shared environment.

During her time as a Councillor she is proud to have been able to assist local parishes to install life-saving defibrillators, provide new bus shelters, revamp playgrounds, update village halls and has assisted with funding for equipment for composting schemes.

Kay says “I enjoy solving problems and want to help people. If re-elected I will continue to do my best for our local area, to improve the facilities and quality of life we enjoy here and to play my part in ensuring the council provide good quality services and value for money.”
